Andrea Wescott

I’m Andrea Wescott, and I’m thrilled to be teaching at Risen Christ Preschool!  I received my degree in Social Work and worked in the field for a few years until I had my first child.  After I had my three children (one in college and two school aged), I started nannying.  I started finding creative ways to keep everyone happy and engaged.  This is where my love for working with children began.

I have been teaching preschool for 5 years and truly love watching this age group grow and experience the world.  In my classroom, we celebrate curiosity and creativity. I believe that each child is unique and learns best through play.  I like to create a safe, calm place for children to explore through play, getting messy, singing, and dancing. 

I look forward to helping the children develop socially, emotionally and spiritually!
